MESSAGE TO JOIN FROM THE PREMIER OF NSW
For the Jewish community, Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the holiest days of the Jewish calendar. It is a time for remembrance, giving thanks and looking ahead to the coming year.
This past year has seen significant developments within the Jewish Ozzies' Inter Net. I understand that many Web sites have been developed and maintained for major Jewish communal organizations. I would like to commend the many volunteers who have made this possible.
In particular, I would like to commend the development of a web site for the NSW Kashrut Authority, which includes a comprehensive guide to Kosher products and services available in New South Wales. This is a very important resource, particularly for the many Jewish visitors we anticipate visiting Sydney during the Olympic Games in 2000 .
I wish the organization continued success for the coming year.
On behalf of the New South Wales Government I extend best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year to the Jewish community.
